Most Popular
QA Deluxe
Performance Series
Heavy-duty aluminum housing, American Assembled. Delivers excellent CFM performance at a price point most homeowners find easy to justify. Outperforms every comparable fan in its class.
ECM motors cost more upfront but use significantly less electricity. We'll show you the payback math for your home.
Standard Motor
Reliable single-speed motor. Lower upfront cost. Proven performance for decades. A solid choice when energy efficiency is a secondary concern.

ECM Motor
Electronically commutated motor — the same technology used in Tesla and modern HVAC systems. Uses up to 65% less electricity than a standard motor. Variable speed, quieter, smarter.

Step 4 of 6
Which damper insulation?
The damper seals your attic when the fan isn't running. Higher R-value = better insulation = lower heating costs in winter.
R-5
Standard Insulation
Single-layer insulated damper. Sufficient for mild climates where winters stay above 40°F.
Mild climatesCA Coast, SouthIncluded standard
Recommended for cold climates
R-13
Cold Climate Motorized
Motorized, gasket-sealed damper with R-13 insulation, more than 2.5× the standard R-5. Seals tight when the fan is off. Recommended for cold-winter climates.

Step 5 of 6
Where will it be installed?
Most installs are ceiling-mounted. Wall installs with an R-5 damper need a separate adapter; R-13 dampers support wall installation natively.
Ceiling
Standard installation
Mounted horizontally between joists in the ceiling. The default install for most homes — no extra hardware required.
No adapterIncluded
Wall
Vertical mount
Mounted vertically through a wall. With an R-5 damper this requires the Vertical Wall Mount Adapter to brace the unit.

How do you want to control it?
Available controls depend on your motor and damper. We'll only show options that fit.
Add WiFi smart plug control for less than $40 — turn your fan on or off from anywhere. Customers who've added it call it a must-have.
